D.a.T. SaUcE Raises $6000 For Wounded Warriors Offering An Exclusive Louisiana Experience!
Scott Green, co-owner of Morgan City company D.a.T. Sauce, LLC. auctioned off an exclusive, once in a lifetime Louisiana Experience on approximately 20,000 acres of scenic Louisiana bayou waters, swamps and marshes to raise $6000 for R & DA’s Military Assistance Program for Wounded Warriors.
The highest bidder, along with three guests, had the opportunity to come to Louisiana and spend several days alligator hunting, fishing, enjoying live entertainment and fine Louisiana cuisine, and doing what Scott Green calls “cajun stuff”.
The online auction ended on July 15, 2016, with the winning bid going to Sandra Green (no relation to Scott Green) of Atlanta, Ga, who bid on the auction to surprise her husband Greg for his birthday.
Greg Green and friends arrived in Louisiana on Tuesday, September 6 and entered into a whirlwind of Cajun adventures featuring a “meet and greet” with the winner, guests and Scott Green and friends with a full on dose of the best activities Louisiana has to offer. Activities included alligator hunting (with special assistance of Morgan City locals Jake Breax and Terry Anslum), crabbing, red fishing, frogging, catfish hoop nets, and bayou boat tours and a private JIU-JITSU lesson from 3-Time World Champion UFC Legend Royce Gracie. D.a.T. Sauce recipes and Cajun culinary specialities were provided by Chef Kern including Authentic Jambalaya, Smoked Beef Brisket, Grilled fresh caught Redfish, Sirloin Po Boys, and Kern’s famous Flaky Chicken. Live Entertainment was provided by Official Last Honky Tonk Music Series Artists Mudbone, Kyle Wilson and Brigitte London. The entire experience was filmed for the winner by award winning producer and Patterson, LA resident William Gil.
“It was epic”, said winner Greg Green.
The D.a.T. SaUcE Louisiana Experience will become an annual event.
“As always, we have a wonderful time on the bayou and it gives us great pleasure to offer these experiences,” says Scott Green. “We look forward to doing this again next year and raising more money and awareness for the MAP Program.”

“With everyone’s great support over the years our Military Assistance Program has been able to provide outstanding support to our wounded warriors. We have assisted with the adoption of a baby, helped with starting a fudge company and provided wheel chairs to disabled veterans who were in need. These are just a few examples of how 100% of the money we take in gets distributed. With your great support of the D.a.T. SaUcE Experience Auction we will be able to support even more wounded warriors in the future. Please keep in mind as you bid on any future auctions, that the money raised from the events will support those that stand guard around the world to protect the United States of America and the freedom we take for granted. Without their volunteerism we wouldn’t be able to enjoy our day to day activities. God Bless you for your support and God Bless our United States Military. –Don Vtipil, Co-Founder, Military Assistance Program
